EURO-CIU is a non-governmental and non-profit association, which was founded in Luxembourg in 1995, consists of 31 member associations from 23 European countries representing almost 150.000 cochlear implant users across Europe.

A cochlear implant is a surgically implanted device that provides access to sound for severely/profoundly deaf adults and children by stimulating the auditory nerve.

We are pleased and honoured to invite you to the 10th European Symposium of Euro-CIU entitled 'State of the Art on cochlear Implants in Europe', which will take place in Antwerp-Belgium on Thursday 9 April and Friday 10 April 2015. The Belgian-the Netherlands symposium (in the Dutch language) will take place on 9 April and the Europ-CIU symposium (in English) on Friday 10 April.

ONICI, the Independent Information Centre on Cochlear Implants, operating in Belgium and the Netherlands organizes the 10th European symposium of Euro-CIU. In 2015 EURO-CIU celebrates its 20th anniversary and the organization of the 10th European symposium.
