1st International Music Festival for Children, Youths and Adults with Hearing Disorders (Beats of Cochlea)

1st International Music Festival for Children, Youths and Adults with Hearing Disorders ‘Beats of Cochlea’ is an original project initiated by Prof. Henryk Skarżyński, first in Poland surgeon who performed cochlear implantation in a totally deaf patient in 1992, and in 2002 implanted, for the first time in the world, a patient with partial deafness. Astounding progress was made in the field of hearing implants since that time. This Festival, which we believe will become an important date in the calendar of international music events, will be a manifestation of exceptional talents that deaf and hard of hearing people of all ages can develop thanks to technological progress.
